Launching a Premium Brand Experience

CHALLENGE

Tatcha was an explosive growth luxury skincare brand looking to expand within and beyond the U.S. The challenge was refining visual storytelling that honored its Japanese heritage while conveying modern luxury across campaigns, packaging, and in-store experiences.

SOLUTION

I led creative direction for campaigns and in-store experiences, successfully capturing a modern interpretation of traditional Japanese luxury. This included the Golden Snowflakes holiday campaign, so successful that it ran for two consecutive seasons. I also designed Tatcha’s premier Sephora launch, creating a brand-driven environment that brought Tatcha’s story to life for shoppers.

RESULT

The refined visual identity I led became foundational as Tatcha broadened its footprint through key retail partnerships and selective international expansion. The creative systems and frameworks established under my direction continued to support the brand’s growth and eventual acquisition by Unilever.
